You have tested positive and have symptoms

If you are symptomatic and have tested positive for COVID-19, please isolate for 10 days from the start of your symptoms. To stop or discontinue isolation, at least 10 days must have passed since your symptoms began, at least 24 hours must have passed since you had a fever and all other symptoms have improved.

You were exposed to someone with COVID-19 and are not fully vaccinated* for COVID-19

If you have been in close contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19 and have NOT been fully vaccinated, you should quarantine for 10 days (stay at home and do not leave), but monitor your symptoms for 14 days from your last contact. If you live in the same household with someone that has COVID-19, you should begin to quarantine when you become aware; however, if your family member is not able to isolate away from everyone, you enter the last day of their isolation period as your date of last contact with the person who tested positive (this date will be in the future if you are still in close contact with the case).

*An individual is considered fully vaccinated if it has been at least 14 days (2 weeks) since the completion of the COVID-19 vaccination series (two doses in a two-dose series OR one dose in a one-dose series). If you are fully vaccinated, you do not need to quarantine following an exposure to COVID-19. However, you should monitor symptoms for 14 days and consider testing on days 3-5.
