Media Release - Canton City Public Health announces new leadership hires.

Due to updates being completed by the Ohio Department of Health (ODH), the Vital Statistics office will not be able to issue birth or death certificates on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 during the updates.  ODH estimates that the updates will take place approximately 7:00am to 11:00am on this day.  It may run longer, but this is a general estimate of the time.

  • That Fall ORV (Oral Rabies Vaccine) baiting starts on Sunday. August 19? The area to be baited in Stark County includes a line from the middle of Lake Township south to Pike Township and across to the eastern border of Stark County. Details can be found here.
