Poor sanitation in many homes still exists today, even in the City of Canton.  The majority of times, lack of basic house keeping knowledge, is the cause of rodent and insect infestation or sometimes, conditions that warrant immediate closure of a home due to an imminent health threat. 

One thing to keep in mind when you are in your home is that you have as much right to live there without government interference until the conditions existing at your home, affect the lives of neighbors or threaten the public health.
