Anju G. Mader, M.D.

Anju G. Mader, M.D.

Anju Mader, M.D. has served on the Board of Health of the City of Canton since 2010.  She is a graduate of the former Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine (now Northeast Ohio Medical University).  Dr. Mader completed her Pediatric residency and fellowship in Ambulatory and Academic Pediatrics at Children's Hospital Medical Center of Akron.  Subsequently, she was Director of the Division of Adolescent Medicine at Tod Children's Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio.  Locally, she has served in various roles at Mercy Medical Center:  Director of Diagnostic Referral Services, Chairman and Medical Director of the Department of Pediatrics, and Director of the Pediatric Quality Team.  She is Board Certified in Pediatrics.

Dr. Mader is currently the Director of the Stark County Help Me Grow program.  The organization is part of the state-wide system serving the comprehensive developmental needs of children from birth to age three.  Help Me Grow's mission includes family-centered services for expectant parents, newborns, infants and toddlers.  Her professional experience includes educating residents and students in such roles as Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine and Adjunct Faculty of General Sciences at Stark State College of Technology.  

Dr. Mader is committed to the health and development of our children as is evidenced in her involvement with youth in the Stark County area.  She will serve on the Board of Health of the Canton City Health District until May, 2015.
